Recipe: Homemade Pancakes and Bacon
Remember when it was a special day if you got pancakes or bacon (turkey bacon, in this case)…well, today must be a special day! Here, in our house, getting cereal is a special day…we’re all about a hot breakfast. It’s time for homemade pancakes and bacon.
Last summer I shared with you a homemade pancake recipe, yet I only made waffles with it. Today, pancakes!
Ingredients
- homemade pancake mix
- one egg
- 1/4-1/2 cup of water
- turkey bacon
- agave syrup (or maple syrup)
First – gather your ingredients and mix together the first 3.
Mix well – no clumps and get your pan (lightly oiled) nice and hot – around a 7 or 8 on the dial.
Flip after about 2 minutes.
Looking good! Plate when they’re done.
I could eat those all day! Top with turkey bacon and then smother with agave syrup.
So delicious…and so easy to make!
Be sure that the homemade pancake mix makes it into your pantry – you’ll be happy!
Funday Sunday.
