Jammy Eggs. Getting the perfect jammy egg can be tricky, yet they’re oh, so good. Great for a snack, to smash on toast or add it to a salad. This quick and easy recipe is the best since you can cook your eggs right out of the fridge. Total awesomeness.

Okay, let’s get started!

Ingredients

  • 4 free range eggs
  • 5 cups of cold water
  • 2 cups of ice
  • 5 cups of cold water (yes, again)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

First, fill a pot with 5 cups of cold water. Then, gently spoon in the eggs. Add in the salt and bring to a boil. Keep in mind that different altitudes, climate and all that cause slight discrepancies in the boiling time – you might need to tweak this recipe for where you live. While the water is heating up to a boil get a bowl and fill it with the other 5 cups of cold water and the 2 cups of ice.

Once the water boils, set your watch for 3 minutes.

Then, quickly spoon out the eggs and put them in the ice bath.

Cool for 2 minutes then peal and enjoy jammy eggs.
