Recipe: Reese’s S’mores
Reese’s s’mores – one of the best camping treats around! These s’mores are packed with delicious Reese’s peanut butter goodness and make for a tasty s’more. Start your fire and let’s get cooking!
Ingredients
- One Reese’s bar
- 8 graham crackers
- 4 jumbo marshmallows
First, get your fire going – we like to make s’mores over the embers, so usually after we eat dinner, and before we put on the next round of logs to keep us warm. For us, it’s a low and slow process cooking the perfect marshmallow to a nice golden brown.
Okay, once the fire is close, break out your ingredients. For these s’mores, we’re using GF graham crackers and the epic Reese’s bar.
If you’re looking for your chocolate to be super melty, then I suggest putting it on a piece of foil and putting it over the fire, just a bit. You can set the foil on the grills, and the chocolate will warm up. I’m not a huge fan of this, but I’m also aware that the marshmallow can’t fully melt a big piece of chocolate!
Look at that golden brown mallow! Reese’s s’mores here we come!
Okay, once your marshmallow is roasted, then build away – smash the marshmallow and a pice or two of chocolate between two golden graham crackers. Eat up and enjoy.
So melty and so good. These gluten free graham crackers are good, but they’re filling so I usually only have one or two s’mores, then a few added marshmallows on their own!
I wonder what types of other chocolate bars we could use – Skor, Snickers, or even Rolos – we’ll have to try those out soon, too.
Well, there you have it – some camping treats! I hope you enjoy these Reese’s S’mores as much as we do. Thanks for stopping by and we’ll see you again soon!
