Recipe: Square M&M and Oreo Cookies

Love Oreo cookies and M&Ms? No, you don’t…well, then pick something you love and add it to this square cookie recipe! But…if you do, then you’re in luck! Time to try these square M&M and Oreo cookies.

I noticed some cookies like this on Pinterest one day and I though, wow…inspiration!! Time to bake up! They are easy to make and they go quickly. I start with my chewy cookie recipe:

Ingredients

• 2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon backing soda
• 2 teaspoons corn starch
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 1 cup butter
• 2 eggs
• 1 tablespoon vanilla
• 12 Oreo cookies
• 1 1/2 cup of plain M&M candies

First thing…cut the 12 Oreos into 4.

Next – cream the sugars, butter, eggs, and the vanilla together. While that’s mixing, add all the dry ingredients together and mix well. Add in the dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly.

Add in two-thirds of the M&Ms and 8 of the chopped Oreos. Mix on the lowest setting you have.

Then, spoon out all the mixture into a well buttered 9×13 pan. Top the giant tray of cookies with the remaining M&Ms and Oreos.

Bake at 350 degrees for 23-25 minutes. Keep an eye out…once the edges start to brown they’re done. The middle cookies will be so soft and chewy – they are the best ones!

Cut the cookies into squares and serve.

One cookie – two cookies – a tower of cookies! These square M&M and Oreo cookies are just so good.
