Travel: Courtyard Marriott Omaha
The Courtyard Marriott in Omaha is downtown and just a block away from the Old Market. It’s spacious, has a great view, and super friendly staff! If you’re going to downtown Omaha anytime soon, then pick this hotel! The only downside is it doesn’t have a pool. Okay, here are some added photos. Courtyard Marriott Omaha The room is pretty standard – has a large king bed, a desk (Bryce and I both worked a bit while on our vacation), as well as a mini-fridge…

From extraordinary views to a deep soaker tub, this is a great place to lay your head after a long day of hiking, surfing, or all out adventuring. Let’s check out some photos. Travel: D’win Hotel
D’win Hotel in the Marais district of Paris – the 4th arrondissement, is a sweet little place to lay your head. It’s only a two block walk from the metro. Oh, and at $190 Canadian a night, a good deal for the area. There are a lot of stairs though – small little ups and downs. Our room was 3 steps down from the main hallway on the 4th floor. No lift, so be sure you know that before booking. The best part of this…

Travel: Embassy Inn Review
Staying in the harbour area of Victoria can be expensive, yet it’s worth it for the walk ability around the downtown area. There are so many parks, palaces to see, and delicious restaurants. The Embassy Inn offered a fair value and is a clean hotel. We paid 145$ per night, since I booked back in January and took advantage of the 35% off if I paid at the time of booking. Score! We got a room with two beds since we had all of our…

Are you a foodie? We are, no doubt about it. We’ve driven an extra 700 miles to eat Lotus of Siam, travel to cities inspired by food (hello, Chicago!), and well, I run this lifestyle blog which is full of recipes and good eats. So, what does all of this mean? It means when I’m in Calgary and I have a chance to eat at Canada’s Top Chef Allstar’s restaurant, I’m going to take it. But only once. Read below as I share our experience…

Travel: Queen Anne Flats Seattle
Seattle is amazing. The city is bright, cool and has a down-to-earth feel which puts you at ease. After visiting the MoPop we headed up to our flat in Queen Anne. The Queen Anne Flats Seattle is your home away from home. Simply awesome. This was our first VRBO experience and it was such a great one. Check out the VRBO listing if you’re looking for a one of kind Seattle experience. We were about 3 blocks from an awesome Metro Market (like Whole Foods,…

Travel: Time Square Suites Vancouver
I flat out love Vancouver. This wonderful city, however, is a tad pricy and finding a beautiful place to stay at a reasonable rate was a little challenging. Time Square Suites Vancouver is the place to stay. Check it out – they are close to Stanley Park and Whole Foods is just a couple of blocks away. Plus, parking is included for a small fee. Okay, let’s check out some photos. Time Square Suites Each suite comes with a full kitchen. It’s awesome. When we’re…
