D’win Hotel in the Marais district of Paris – the 4th arrondissement, is a sweet little place to lay your head. It’s only a two block walk from the metro. Oh, and at $190 Canadian a night, a good deal for the area.

There are a lot of stairs though – small little ups and downs. Our room was 3 steps down from the main hallway on the 4th floor. No lift, so be sure you know that before booking.

The best part of this place is the location. We were in the heart of the action – museums, sights, and great food all near by.

See that orange dot? That’s the hotel!

We were happy to have a window, and the fridge was a great bonus! Plus, the bed was comfortable and the place neat and clean.

For us, there are three major factors when choosing a hotel. One, cleanliness. Two, location. Three, price. What we’re looking for is a nice place to lay our head. Don’t get me wrong, there are times, like JPL, when it’s all about the hotel. Yet most times were there to see the city.

The bed is comfortable, so that’s a bonus.

The entrance is tucked away – easy to miss if you’re not watching out for it. Although, it’s much more accessible than where we stayed in Bangkok. The Adamaz House is such a great place, too.

Overall, the D’win Hotel is a great place to stay – check out their page. The staff are friendly and accommodating. On our last day they even kept our baggage until 8pm. Oh, and let us hang out in the common space while I charged my phone for about 20 minutes. The Louvre ate up all my battery!

Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out where we stayed in Paris. Happy travelling!
