Travel: 14 Days in the Middle East
14 days in the Middle East! We dashed around the Persian Gulf, starting in Dubai, then visiting Manama, Bahrain, stopping in Doha, Qatar before making our way back to the United Arab Emirates and finishing our trip in Abu Dhabi. We ate, saw, and experienced! Okay – let’s check out some photos.
14 Days in the Middle East
First, we got excellent flights through Amsterdam for about $1300 each, round trip. Awesome, right?! We travelled in November when the weather was a bit cooler, which is most definitely needed for us Canadians. All in all, it was an awesome time to visit.
Okay, here’s all the info from Dubai.

Dubai is a great city and some people spend 10-14 days in the city and don’t run out of things to do. For us, I’ll share the top three highlights. First, dinner at Avatāra, next the Etihad Museum, and the last highlight – although everything was fun – was the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo. That’s an great balance, food, history, and an activity. Ah!
Up next, here’s our list of things we did in Manama, Bahrain.

Without a doubt, we had some of the best food in Manama – I’d go back to eat at this place, like wholeheartedly. They take only cash, and check out Bahrain Eats if you’re interested in some truly authentic Indian food.
Up next, our time in Doha, Qatar.

Abu Dhabi is home to so much glam – the Lourve Abu Dhabi is a top sight to see. Take in the Qasr Al Watan, too, if you have time.
Well, there you have it, a whole lot of photos of us in the Middle East enjoying our two weeks away.
Happy and safe travels!
