Travel: 4 Days in Hoi An
Hoi An in Vietnam is such a beautiful little town. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is worth the visit. Unlike our other stops on our Southeast Asia tour we had a lot of down time in Hoi An. We ate, biked and rested a lot. Basically, we had a vacation from our vacation and Hoi An was the perfect place to do so. Get ready to enjoy four days in Hoi An.
Golden Bell Homestay
Our hotel, the Golden Bell Homestay, was great. We opted for the location since it was halfway between the beach and old down. A perfect little bike in either direction.
Bikes in Hoi An
You’ll bike everywhere you go – and you’ll see rice drying and roosters just walking around. Oh, and tourists taking photos. Even the locals bike.
Eats
Hoi An has some of the best food – seriously.
Old Town
You’ll have to buy a pass to visit Old Town, yet it’s worth it. Only biking and walking allowed.
The Beach
Funny story about us at the beach – yet that’ll come in another post. The water is warm and the drinks are cold – stay out of the sun and you’ll love it on the shores of Vietnam.
Overall, our four days in Hoi An were relaxing and enjoyable. I’ll admit we were at bit excited to get home (life in Canada is amazing!!) yet that’s simply because we were missing our Great Dane, Lily, and our own bed. If you’re only going to visit one place in Vietnam, let it be Hoi An. I hope you get there one day. Thanks for visiting and I’ll see you again this week with more about our visit in Hoi An, Vietnam.
