Hyatt Regency Mexico City

The Hyatt Regency Mexico City – it’s in the Polanco neighbourhood which is full of top restaurants, streets layered with greenery, and some of the nicest stores around. It’s a beautiful place to stay! They’ve got so many amenities like a fitness centre, tennis courts, a pool and a few onsite restaurants. Check out the Hyatt Regency for more info.

We stayed for 4 nights as part of our Formula One Experience Package to see the Mexico City Grand Prix. Checking in on the Thursday of race weekend and checking out on the Monday might make it seem like we had a lot of time. Yet we didn’t do much other than sleeping and late dinners – most of our time was at the track! Oh, we had delightful breakfasts and enjoyed seeing the Red Bull, Mercedes, and Aston Martin teams in the dining area. Their breakfast buffet was lavish. I didn’t get it, since there was so much gluten and a lot of meat. It was easier (and probably safer being celiac) to eat off the menu.

The room was quite standard, yet with enough space. The bathroom was big and we had the second most comfortable bed (our bed at home rocks!). Plus, they had a lot of storage, which is a big plus. Another point, the air conditioning was top notch. It worked well and kept us nice and comfortable, which is awesome.

The bonus about this bathroom is that it had a rain shower head (not my favourite) but a secondary shower head, too – I like that balance. As a curly haired girl, I like to keep my hair dry quite often, so I appreciated the flexibility in the shower.

All in all, the view was beautiful – we were on the 19th floor which was a lot of fun – great views of the city. I know it’s kind of a bad photo with all the reflections, yet the greenery in the park across the way was too good not to share.

Well, the price is quite a bit for the Hyatt Regency Mexico City. What you’re paying for, though, is the location, service, and the amenities – all excellent. If you ever visit Mexico City, check out if they have any deals – it’s worth it!
