Photos: Daphne Turns Five

Daphne turns five! What? I know, wild, eh? There are days were it feels like she came into our lives just a year or two ago, but nope, it’s been almost five years. Below we’ll share a few highlights (okay, a lot of highlights) from the past year. She’s one fun pup, that’s for sure.

She usually gets a hike on her birthday – a great way to spend the day.

Some of our favourite things about Daphne are that she loves being in the car and will keep her head out the window when we’re going 80km an hour. I know, it’s so fast! She also loves to nap and enjoys her friends at daycare. She loves them so much she even gives kisses!

Here are a few of her favourite napping places – the couch, the rug, and the front door.

She loves going to daycare – her tail wags and she’s bouncy in the parking lot, it’s so cute.

Another highlight from the year is this one and the snow. She’s not a fan of her winter gear – I think it prevents her from feeling like she can run free! Anyway, we got her boots on her and then tried to get her winter coat on. She ran and jumped into her spot in protest. No walk today, it’s too cold! Ha-ha.

Well, there you have it, a photo tribute to Daphne’s fifth birthday. Keep an eye out for fun times in the future – with a dog around we’re sure to have them!
