Agnes Waters Beach

Agnes Waters Beach – one of the most beautiful and relaxing places on our whole trip. The beach was quite, as you can see. And the waves were big! Okay, not that big, but big enough to play in and set soaked.

Jumping up into the waves, trying out rise the wave is a whole heck of a lot of fun. I felt so tall, haha! Back when I was a kid my dad took us to Warren Dunes – let me see if I can find it. Yup, here’s the state park site – Warren Dunes State Park. We played in the water, waves as high as I had even seen – coming off the east side of Lake Michigan, thanks to the Windy City, Chicago – and just like at Agnes Waters, the water pulls you down the beach. So much fun. Honestly, it’s a good thing we were strong swimmers, since we all know water with undertows can be dangerous.

Okay, let’s check out some photos of the calming and peaceful beach.

See – don’t the waves looks like fun?! It was such a nice night we just hung out and enjoyed the downtime. I will say that we visited the next day, too and saw and Afghan Hound! He was tanned, yet seeing one most certainly made us miss Daphne even more!

Well, there you have it – Agnes Waters Beach. You can tell from all the footprints that it’s a busy place, just looks like we visited at the perfect time. The sun setting behind us, the moon peaking out, the warm water, and a whole lot of fresh air. Life is good!

All in all, I’m not a huge beach person. I think I shared that back when we visited Koh Rong. Yet having some relaxing downtime is nice, and Agnes Waters Beach doesn’t disappoint. Check it out if you’re in the area – it’s the last surf beach before the Great Barrier Reef.

Happy travelling!
