Ring necklace – DIY. If you have nylon string and rings, you’re good to go.

About 10 months ago I made a similar necklace – silver ring necklace. So…why this one? Well, my mom visited in July of 2014 and we visited the local farmer’s market. She was looking for a white necklace. Do you think we could find one? No.

Ever since then I was looking for a modern white necklace. I searched in Mexico, in Los Angeles, in San Francisco – even in Las Vegas when we visited. Heck, I even looked every chance I got at local stores such as Target, Michales, H&M and each drug store I walked into. No luck. What’s a girl to do?

So – for Christmas this year I wanted to get her a white necklace and since I couldn’t find one, I made one. Follow the silver ring necklace tutorial if you’d like to make your own.

The main difference on this necklace is the knotting – I used a different knot (rather than just tying it) which makes its length adjustable and more professional looking.
