Recipe: Canada Day Dipped Wafers
Dipped Wafers…again, I know. They are just too good to not make a few times a year, at least. Moreover, I just got my great-grandmother’s double boiler. It’s adorable…and I needed a reason to use it! Time for Canada day dipped wafers.
Ingredients
- vanilla wafers (or any flavour, really)
- white chocolate (or dark, would work, too)
- sprinkles (you need these)
Get all of your ingredients together – for this special celebration we’ve got white chocolate and red sprinkles – proud to be Canadian!
You probably remember these from St. Patrick’s Day…today, however, it’s time to rock the red and white. Get the double boiler ready.
Break up the wafers and dip in the white chocolate (or use a small fork/spoon to coat the end of the wafer).
Now sprinkle it up!! Place on parchment paper to set.
You’re done!
Put them in the fridge and eat in about 30 minutes.
Happy Canada Day…well, in 3 days, anyway!
Enjoy your summer and don’t forget to have fun outdoors…happy day!
