Recipe: Dipped Wafers
It’s St. Patrick’s Day! On Saturday I shared a quick and easy green velvet cookie recipe – I hope they turned out, if you tired them.
This holiday treat is ready in a jiffy – took less than 10 minutes (trip to the grocery store, not included).
Ingredients
- 15-18 wafer cookies
- 2 oz of bakers white chocolate
- 1/2 of sprinkles
- parchment paper
First – you need to get all of your ingredients together.
Next – melt your white chocolate and get ready to decorate with green sprinkles.
Open your wafers and get them ready.
You might want to taste test the quality of the wafers, just to ensure their freshness (I had 2). 🙂
Now – dip the wafer in the melted chocolate – I actually found it easier to spoon it on – try one way and if it doesn’t work, try the other. Then, sprinkle on the sprinkles. Don’t dunk the wafer in the sprinkles, everything will clump and make a mess.
Place on parchment paper for about 6 minutes until the chocolate has hardened.
Done!
Eat away or bring to work for a festive treat!
I store mine in the fridge, just so the chocolate stays hard…it’s not too fun if it’s all soft and melty.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
