It’s Canada Day in 5 days – time to get your pride on! Canada day cupcakes, here we come.

This treat is quick and easy…and they celebrate all that is wonderful about calling this red and white country home.

Ingredients

  • box of devil’s food cake
  • red velvet emulsion
  • ingredients to make boxed cake
  • icing
  • red sprinkles
  • white mini cupcake liners
  • mini cupcake pan

Gather all of your ingredients and mix up the came mix box – add in the red velvet emulsion (I got mine at Michales – works way, way better than food colouring)

Lay out your white liners and fill to the top!

Bake at 350 for about 13-15 minutes – until toothpick comes out clean. Set aside and cool.

Ice and sprinkle with redness!

  • 1 box of devil's food cake
  • 1 tablespoon red velvet emulsion
  • ingredients to make boxed cake
  • 1 tub icing
  • 1/3 cup red sprinkles

Instructions

  • Gather all of your ingredients and mix up the came mix box - add in the red velvet emulsion (I got mine at Michales - works way, way better than food colouring)
  • Lay out your white liners and fill to the top!
  • Bake at 350 for about 13-15 minutes - until toothpick comes out clean. Set aside and cool.
  • Ice and sprinkle with redness! Done - eat up.
