This is a simple recipe for an easy dessert when you need to bring something tasty to a party, or to work for those people who often save you butt!

What is poke cake? You poke holes in the cake and pour pudding over top – then the pudding sets in the holes and creates total yumminess!

Ingredients

  • devil’s food cake box (and ingredients to make)
  • cookies ‘n cream pudding box (and ingredients to make)
  • 8 chopped oreo cookies (I used the Berry Blast ice cream flavour)

Now, make the pudding and quickly, before the pudding sets, pour over the cake.

I made the mistake of waiting too long, so on this cake the pudding didn’t run down into the holes as nicely as I would have liked. Bummer…still tastes great, though!

Add the chopped Oreo cookies and let it set in the fridge for about an hour.
