Beer? Chicken? Summer? Sounds like perfection! Let’s get BBQing this beer chicken. Summer is unofficially here.

This recipe is delicious, even if it’s not summer. Try it today.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken broken down
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon of cumin and paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of chili powder
  • heaping tablespoon of chopped garlic
  • 1/2 cup of chopped parsley
  • a lime – juiced
  • 1 can of beer (or, in my case, ginger beer)

First – gather all of your ingredients together!

Mix all of the ingredients together – and then add in the chicken. Let it soak and marinate for about 4 hours.

Time to grill…or put in the oven, like me! I used 2 cast-iron pans and baked the chicken at 425 for about 35 minutes. If you grill it, the chicken will take about 40 minutes to cook – cook to an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees.

Once it’s done, get ready to eat.
