Peanut butter cheerio bars. It’s fall which means it’s time for some tasty treats. These gluten free peanut butter cheerio bars are a delicious little snack. You could even go a step further and make them with pumpkin spice cheerios. Okay, let’s get started!
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons of salted butter
- 1 bag of mini marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons of vanilla
- 1/2 a cup of natural peanut butter
- 6 cups of gluten free cheerios
First, gather all of your ingredients. Oh, and taste a few marshmallows for quality control.
Next, get a very large pot and melt the butter on low. Add in all the marshmallows and keep stirring with a wooden spoon until they are all melted.
Mix in the vanilla and the peanut butter. Keep the pot on the burner and be sure it’s very low heat.
Add in the 6 cups of gluten free cheerios and stir. Remove from heat. Combine so that all the cheerios are covered in the peanut butter marshmallow mix.
Press the mixture into a 9×13 well greased pan and cool for 2-3 hours in the fridge.
