Roasted turkey in 3 easy steps. Easter is right around the corner and this quick and easy turkey is perfect for your festive celebration.
- 1 turkey
- 2 tablespoons of salt
Buy a good turkey – either local or grade A, or both! Take it out of the plastic and wash it well.
Place the turkey on a large pan, breast side down, and rub the salt on the top and inside the cavity.
Place in the oven (I have a convection oven and I use the roast convection setting at 330 degrees) and cook until the internal temperature is 165 or greater. You can use your probe, if your oven has one.
Done! That’s it. Easy, eh? You don’t need to cover it, you don’t need to baste it, you don’t need to do anything other than those 3 steps. This was the most tender turkey I’ve ever made…the secret, the convection, I believe.
