Recipe: St. Patrick’s Day Brownies
St. Patrick’s Day brownies – they’re the chewiest, sweetest, fudgy-est brownies you’ve had. The green, crystal, and silver sprinkles simply make them pop in festive fashion. Okay, let’s check out a few of our favourite brownie recipes – my go-to is the Fudgy Brownie one. Let’s bake up so we can eat up!
St. Patrick’s Day Brownies
Recipes:
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of sprinkles
I make these in a 9×9 pan and cut them into 9 squares, then cut on the bias to double our brownies! Every now and then someone (not saying who!!) will grab two triangles and will say they grabbed one full brownie. It’s funny how small little things like that make a difference – I love it.
One thing to note about the sprinkles is that the clear glass ones don’t show up too much in the photos, but they offer a dynamic in real life. Also, I didn’t add any white this time around since I went with the silver balls. A nice pop of bling.
What are your favourite brownie toppings?
I’ve done chocolate bar pieces (Reese’s, Skor), chips, and even cookies (hello Oreos!) – I think adding cookies is my ultimate favourite. I can’t eat many of them, though, due to the richness. This is where it’s perfect when they’re cut in triangles since having one is enough.
Ah – you can see some of the clear sprinkles catching the light below. Neat, eh?
In this batch we got 18 brownies and they keep for about 4-5 days in an air tight container. If you haven’t tried freezing them, though, you should! They’re so good cold.
Well, there you have it, the St. Patrick’s Day brownies, fresh, fudgy, and festive!
Thanks for stopping by and happy baking – enjoy the weekend – see you again soon.
