Recipe: Valentine’s Day Brownies
Valentine’s Day brownies! Yes, these fudgy brownies are packed full of chocolate goodness and topped with bright fun sprinkles, just the right amount of party for Valentine’s Day. Okay, I’ll share a few recipes below and more pictures of these sprinkle topped treats.
Valentine’s Day Brownies
Recipes:
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of sprinkles
When it comes to the 1/2 cup of sprinkles, you can pick any colours you like. For Valentine’s Day I went for purples, blues, golds, and of course pink. I buy our sprinkles at Bulk Barn, since they have a wide variety and you don’t have to buy more than you need. The sprinkles for these brownies were about $1.67 or so – worth it! Okay, now more photos.
PS – like the cutting board?! I got it for Christmas, it’s awesome.
I cut the brownies into triangles since then we get more! Plus, they look fun this way, don’t you think? In an 8×8 pan I can get 18 brownies which is a good number. We put a few in the freezer to save for later, but they don’t last very long in the freezer either! They’re that good.
Also, feel free to load them up with other toppings like pink sweethearts or M&Ms. I bought these adorable heart candies that were bright pink and they melted into blobs on the brownies. Don’t get me wrong, they were good, but not very pretty.
We’ve loaded brownies up with cookies, chips, and candy – let your imagination run wild!
Well, there you have it – brownies packed full of sprinkles. Bake up, eat up, or freeze up for later. Either way, turn the oven on, enjoy the warmth on your toes and the treat to come.
Thanks for stopping by – see you again soon.
Happy baking!
