Okay, first up we did the Shibuya Crossing and the Sky view – both worth checking out. These experiences give you a stunning view of the city and energize you for your trip.
The next day we took the train – we took the metro everywhere that wasn’t within walking distance – and hiked Mount Takao. The train ride was a little long, about 60-70 minutes, yet worth it! Check out the views.
After Mount Takao we hopped back on the train – it’s was quite empty and a nice ride post hike – and headed to the north-central part of Tokyo to grab some snacks and check out the national gardens.
The art aquarium is next – it was all goldfish! The displays were stunning and exuded creativity.
After getting some eats (hello Downtown B’s Indian Kitchen – Tokyo Eats) we called it a day.
On our third day we started at the SensÅ-ji temple and had some snacks.
Up next, we visited the temple, the zoo, and then the Metropolitan Art Museum.
After that we caught the train and headed to Tokyo Station for some top-notch ramen.
After a late lunch we visited the Tokyo City View, had some downtime at the hotel, then had dinner and ended the third day with a visit to the Mori Art Museum.
On day four we walked around Roppongi a bit, did some shopping at the mall down the street and the shops across from our hotel, and then headed back to Tokyo Station for more ramen. Oh, and we walked to the Tokyo Tower – stunning!
Well, there you have it, a few highlights into how we spent our 4 days in Tokyo. An amazing experience, for sure.
