Travel: Dublin Sights
Dublin sights! There are so many statues and sights all around Dublin, so be sure to walk and enjoy your surroundings. Some of these get a little more attention than others (you’ll see what I mean below!). All in all, Dublin is a very walkable city, and we recommend lacing up your shoes and hitting the sidewalk. Okay, photo time.

The Thomas Davis Stature above has a bird on its head – it’s kind of wild how much it’s covered in bird poop.
Up next, we have the Molly Malone statue – she’s the star of a well-known Irish song. When we visited this statue, there was a family of about 3 generations, and they couldn’t stop laughing as they each went up and posed with Molly.
Up next, Oscar Wild and James Joyce.
There are two James Joyce statues – this bust in Stephen’s Green Garden and the other, full-body statue on North Earl Street on the North side of the River Liffey.
Up next, we have the Philip Lynott statue and then a photo of a pink man in a garden.
Well, there you have it, some Dublin sights.
Some of my favourite memories are walking around cities, seeing the different sights, the statues, the art that’s mixed in with the infrastructure. It’s wild that even in my own city, I don’t appreciate such elements nearly enough. I work downtown a few times a month, and since coming back from Dublin I’ve tried to make an effort to look around, be present, and take in my surroundings more so, like when I’m travelling.
The best thing about these sights is that they’re free, right out there in the open for all to enjoy.
