Osaka Eats

Osaka eats! We had some of the best eats – from street food to soba, this place has awesome (totally awesome) food. I’ll share the restaurants we visited, the snack places, and a lot of photos of food! Okay, let’s check this out.

Restaurants

Snacks

I know, I know – we had fries at McDonald’s! When you’re travelling internationally, sometimes you just feel like a little piece of home. The fries were so good.

Kyoto Eats

First up, soba and tempura. So good. Like the best tempura I’ve ever had.

Genji-Soba took reservations (they only have seating for about 10-12 people) via Facebook. It’s small moments like this I’m grateful I still have an account, even if I haven’t posted in 8 years.

This is a gem of a place – I love finding little places like this, it’s what travel is all about.

They make their own noodles, too! So fun.

Up next we had lunch as a cute little spot – it was eclectic and the food was quite good.

This next place was so fun – filled with tourist notes all over the walls – we found some from Calgary, Vancouver, and Toronto. The takoyaki is gluten free, which is awesome! It’s a staple in Osaka, so you have to try it. Bryce loved it. It was so good we got another order to share, haha!

Then, last, but most certainly not least, we found an awesome taco place for our last night in Japan.

La Fonda was good to us – tender tacos, fresh guacamole, and that lime! So good.
