Project: Tree Cutting 2019
Tree cutting 2019 – why am I sharing something so old? That’s a good question. Well, one of the reasons why I’m sharing this tree cutting 2019 project is because first, I forgot; but second, because it sets up the next post I’ll share on December 30.
Tree Cutting 2019
Okay – so why did we cut down trees? First, we took down trees that were in danger of falling on the house, the shop and the trailers. We also built a retaining wall, installed a fence and built a shed in the space where these trees were standing. I think all in all we took down about 35-40 trees, yet planed just as many – so we’re good!
First, you need the right equipment – this 50 foot boom lift was the key to a hard day’s work.
Now, let’s check out some fun shots of the property from high in the sky.
Can you see the tower? This is our front yard – well, the first 300 meters.
More shots of the property, the Boler and three Airstreams (yes, 3!).
Well, there you have it – a whole heck of a lot of photos of our property from way up high. Don’t mind the old deck, that’s getting overhauled hopefully soon – it’s on the list!
Be sure to check out the projects we completed after getting this work done – the retaining wall and shed are so functional. I don’t actually know how we functioned without them. And the deer fence, miss Daphne loves the fence.
Lastly, don’t forget that tree cutting creates a lot of cleanup. This is one of I think 6 loads. Wow, right?
Thanks for visiting and I’ll see you again soon. PS – it’s so nice looking at all these green trees. Don’t get me wrong, I love the snow, it’s just nice to see the greenery, too. Bye!
