Recipe: Banana Pancakes
Banana pancakes on this fine Sunday morning. Not only are these quick and easy, they are heathy and filling. Time to get that breakfast going – make the whole house smell like perfection.
Ingredients
- 2 bananas
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- about 2 1/2 cups of oats
- 2 tablespoons of oil
First, gather all of your ingredients.
Next, mix the eggs with the cinnamon. Then, add in the bananas. Slowly add in the oats about 1/2 a cup at a time. You’re looking for a just thick batter…not too thick and certainly not runny. It will depend on if you use quick oats or not.
In a hot pan add some oil and fry up the banana pancakes. Cook about 2-3 minutes per side.
Don’t try and turn them too early, otherwise you’ll make a mess. Trust that they will take a bit of time to cook. If you’re doubling up this recipe for a brunch, you can put your oven on 200 degrees and keep the pancakes warm while you finish cooking up the rest – it’s a little trick, just to keep you on your toes.
Done!
They look so good – big and fluffy, all while being tasty. Time to eat.
Serve with peanut butter and blueberries, or whatever you’re in the mood for!
That’s it. Quick and easy. There are no excuses for Sunday breakfast. Put away that cereal and cook up some healthy eats. See you again soon!
