Travel: Airlie Beach Boardwalk

Airlie Beach Boardwalk

Airlie Beach boardwalk – one of the calmest walks around. From the ocean breeze to the blossoming trees, Airlie Beach is beautiful. If you’re in the area, walk the boardwalk from downtown, by the beach, past the marina and waterfront condos for a nice leisurely walk. You’ll have the ocean on one side and the city on the other.

Oh, while we walked we saw a few turtles and some rays in the water – it was so nice to take our time and enjoy a stroll. Okay – let’s check out some photos of our Airlie Beach boardwalk.

First up, the public pool – it’s full of life with people having BBQs, citizens reading, and others playing in the pool. It’s fun to see people come togheter and enjoy life, just taking time to relax! It’s awesome.

Once past the pool, the beach opens up, yet it’s not so busy – not much shade!

The trees though, they’re in full bloom and are stunning. Bright reds and vibrant yellows, I haven’t ever seen trees bloom so much in my life!

All in all, the walk is peaceful. We walked for about 45 minutes one way, and then turned around and walked back. Airlie Beach has a few ice cream shops, too, if you’re in the mood for a treat after your walk.

The marina was busy and a few sail boats were out just after dinner.

Well, there you have it – our Airlie Beach boardwalk. I find it so relaxing to take a walk, or a stroll as some call it, after dinner when the evening is stuck between the sun setting and darkness. There’s something calming about it.

I hope you enjoy a nice walk sometime this week – it’s fun to get out and about.

Thanks for stopping by – see you again soon!
