Travel: Two Weeks in Mexico

Two Weeks in Mexico: 3ten.ca

Two weeks in Mexico – well, it was actually more like 17 days, which was awesome. I’ll admit, though, it was a bit long in one place. If you venture down to Quintana Roo, Mexico for two weeks and aren’t huge beach people (like us) then rent a car and take some awesome day trips. I’ll share a few things we did while staying in Akumal (and a day trip or two).

Two Weeks in Mexico

First, travelling in a carry on for two weeks might seem challenging, yet with careful planning – it’s worth it.

Up next – how we few to Mexico on a lower budget (I don’t like spending money where I don’t need to). Lower fares means more travel!

We stayed in Akumal, Mexico and travelled down to Tulum on the Colectivo. Worth the savings for sure.

A few other things we did while in Mexico for two weeks – hit the beach, visited Chichen Itza and played around at Xel-Ha water park.

Now, a bit about the food and one of my favourite experiences. La Perla is a delicious restaurant in Playa and the best chicken in Mexico is right outside of the tourist area in Akumal.

My favourite experience? The Cenote – with out a doubt. Awesomeness.
