Travel: Vancouver Eats

Vancouver eats – you need to eat when you travel and although I love having a kitchen, I love eating out. We stayed at Time Square Suites in Vancouver which came with a fully decked out kitchen, yet that doesn’t mean I don’t like a mean taco! Here are our favourite places from Vancouver. Let’s eat!

Vancouver Eats

While in Vancouver for three days we ate at 4 different spots:

All of them were good – Tacofino messed up on my order, yet it was good nonetheless. Hawksworth was amazing – fresh and full of flavour. Okay, let’s check out our two favourites.

The Gluten Free Epicurean

This place is a Celiac’s dream. Fluffy bread, delicious baked goods, and tones of take and bake items. Seriously, visit if you have the chance. They supply a lot of local cafes with their gluten free baked goods and there’s a very good reason for that – they are so tasty! We had the lunch special, turkey sandwich, and a cookie. They’re a little out of the way on the far east side of Mount Pleasant. Either way, try them out. The take and bake waffles are pretty good, too.

La Taqueria

The best tacos ever. Seriously.

If you’re in Vancouver, or even within and hours drive of this place, heck, even 4 hours, then eat at this place. It’s a dive for sure, but oh so good. They have a couple locations and we visited the Hasting’s location in Gastown.

You need to try these tacos – quick service and the guac is good, too.

Overall, these Vancouver eats leave me hungry and wanting to visit the amazing city again soon. Thanks for checking out my blog and happy eating and travelling!
