    Project: Monogram Button Pumpkin

What You Need 1 large pumpkin glue gun or crazy glue matching buttons spay paint A different take on a Halloween Pumpkin – no carving needed here! This way is no fuss, no muss (which I think means mess). Plus, it’s great for kiddos since you don’t have sharp knives to hassle with. Just glue. Bella ready to help.  Spray paint your pumpkin any colour you like and let it dry (overnight is best). Here I went with a dark theme, yet you could go…

    Recipe: Kale Chips

Kale Chips – have you ever had Kale? It’s a complete Super Food, for sure. I dislike it raw (far to fibrous) so cooking it like chips is a little treat. Ingredients 1 bunch of kale 2 tablespoons of olive oil 1 teaspoon of salt 1-1.5 tablespoon of seasoning (chile flakes, chipotle, even chicken and ribs seasoning works well!) Wash, rinse and dry the kale. Toss the kale in the olive oil, salt and seasoning. Lay flat on a baking sheet (make sure you only…

    Recipe: Holy Guacamole

For some reason store bought guacamole tastes bland…and the worst part, I keep eating more hoping the next bite will be better – total disappointment, every time.  So, I make my own and we love it! Fashion & Fabric District – Downtown LA

Buying fabric in Canada can be limiting at times. Very few stores and very few different products. When Bryce and I decided we’d take a small vacation in October I wanted to visit either New York City or Los Angeles (yes, both have fashion/fabric districts). Together we decided on LA – neither one of us had ever been there before, the flights from Edmonton were 3 hours (not like the red-eyes we’d be taking to New York City), and well, the weather was beautiful. Below…
