Easter brunch 2021 – the long weekend is here and we’re getting ready for some wonderful breakfast eats tomorrow. We’ve got a full brunch planned and I wanted to share a sneak peek with you. Okay, let’s get cooking!

Recipes

Oh, and don’t forget our Boler placemats? Have you visited our Boler page over the last year or so? If not, you’ve missed out on two awesome projects – Nikki the Boler and Toots the Boler. We turned Nikki into a Boler Bar and Toots was one of the oldest Bolers we’ve ever done. He’s from 1971 which makes him 50 years old this year! So awesome. Okay, back to brunch.

Get out your placemats and place settings – use light and bright colours so everything feels fresh and the food pops.

Then, get the food ready – this year I only made the two things, yet the Mexican eggs benedict is like making 3 things with the jalapeño guacamole, poached eggs and then the turkey bacon. So delicious and full of flavour.

Oh, and the breakfast potatoes are so good, too. I could have added some fruit, yet the plate was wonderful and fresh with the avocados and green onions. Check it out below.

Okay, let’s eat up.

Looking for different ways to serve up some of your favourite dishes? For brunch I’m using our rustic oak cutting board as a platter – works well for building all of the Mexican eggs benedicts and works just as well to serve them. And, the cast iron pan matches the placemats, so I’ll serve them in the same pan they’re cooked in, keeping up with that rustic look. Another trick, use all white and you’ll nail the place settings.

Okay, now – let’s really eat up!
