Recipe: Holiday Crack

The holidays are here – well, almost. This recipe is a hit any where you go – it’s easy and doesn’t require a lot of time (except for cooling). Let’s get baking this holiday crack.

Ingredients

  • a sleeve of salted saltine crackers
  • 2 sticks of salted butter
  • 1 cup of dark brown sugar
  • 270g bag of milk chocolate chips

First – gather your ingredients.

Lay out parchment paper on a baking sheet and then evenly lay out the saltine crackers.

Mix the butter and brown sugar in a small pan and bring it to a light boil – stir often.

After about 4 minutes, pour over the saltine crackers.

Bake in the oven at 375 for 7 minutes, until the butter and sugar mixture is bubbly.

Top with the chocolate chips and move them around so they melt.

Put the tray in the fridge for 3 hours then take out and cut.

Then eat.
