Recipe: Snickerdoodle Cupcakes
Snickerdoodle cupcakes on this fine Sunday morning. It’s a great treat and well, the cinnamon and sugar is perfection. I love my snickerdoodle cookies, yet I was in a cupcake mood. Feel like baking? Try these out.
Ingredients
- 2 cups of flour
- 3/4 cup of cake flour
- 3 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 2 cups of granulated sugar
- 5 large eggs
- 3 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups of milk
First – gather all of your ingredients and set the oven to 350 degrees. Then, mix the flours, baking powder, cinnamon and salt together.
Cream the butter and sugar together. Then add the eggs and vanilla. Then, slowly add in the flour and milk – alternating bit by bit.
Spoon out into lined muffin tins and bake for 17-19 minutes.
I topped them with cinnamon whipping cream – basic whipping cream with some powdered sugar and cinnamon added.
