Recipe: Steak Fries

Steak Fries: 3ten.ca

Steak fries on this fabulous Friday. Why steak fries? Because I love potatoes and they are chunk and will hold up to the juices of a steak, not that I eat steak. Oh, and the steak spices. These fries are similar to the baked fries I made a while ago. Yet, these ones have the skin on them still – extra nutrients!

Don’t get me wrong – you don’t need to eat these with steak. They are great to eat as a snack, with a roasted chicken or even with a spring salad. They are chunky and delicious if you love potatoes. Oh, how I love potatoes.

Let’s get cooking.

Ingredients

  • 3 large baking potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons of steak spice
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil

Set the oven to 400 degrees on bake and get your ingredients ready.

Wash the potatoes and dry them well. Cut them in large chunky strips – keep the skin on them. Get out a towel and dry off all of the wedges.

Toss them in a bowl with the olive oil and the steak spice. Ensure it’s all mixed well.
