A perfect Sunday Funday lunch – waffle iron grilled cheese – with bacon! Ah, yes, please! It’s delicious, and it’s easy to make for just one.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1/2 tablespoon of butter
  • 2 strips of turkey bacon, chopped
  • 30g of old cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of white onion, chopped
  • waffle iron

Gather your ingredients.

First – get the bacon and onion mixture on the stove. Turn on the waffle iron. Butter the bread. Check on the bacon and onion mixture – should be browning and smelling great.

Now, time to build. You’ll need to move quickly, since if you don’t, the bottom will burn while the top of the grilled cheese won’t even be cooked.
