    Travel: 7 Days in Cambridge

7 days in Cambridge, England – yes, worth the trip! Plus, the company was the best around. It’s not very often we spend a whole week in such a seemingly small place, yet we had a good reason (nerd alert!). We saw sights, art, walked a lot, and even took in a garden and an art house. Plus, we did some studying. Oh, and the eats. Some good food, that’s for sure. Okay, let’s checkout what we did in 7 days! 7 Days in Cambridge…

    Travel: Kettle Yard House

Kettle Yard House – it’s stunning and very much the house of an artist. It’s worth paying the cost of admission to check out this wonderfully curated space. From the pop of yellow with the lemon to the simplistic nature of the furniture placement, be sure to check this place out. Kettle Yard House First up, you’ll most likely need to buy tickets ahead of time online and reserve a time slot. They only let people into the house at certain intervals and give you…

    Travel: Cambridge Eats

Cambridge eats – that’s right, all the places we ate at while visiting Cambridge in the UK. From Indian food to Venezuelan food, this city is packed with awesome eats. Okay, first, I’ll share the list of places, since I didn’t get to snag photos of everything (I know, right?!). Oh, and being gluten free was super easy except for one spot where we went for Korean food. They still had options, just not many. Happy eating. Cambridge Eats Okay, there’s your list – for…

    Travel: Cambridge University Botanical Gardens

The Cambridge University Botanical Garden is worth checking out for sure, especially if you’re into plants. We have more than 100 plants in our house – yes, I know! It’s awesome. My favourite plant is this air plant we have, and it keeps having offspring; we’re up to about 35 of them at least. The grandpa, as I call him, is tired and old, yet he’s still kicking. Okay, if you’re in the Cambridge area, visit the garden. It’s free for Cambridge students, yet it’s…

    Travel: Cambridge Campus

Cambridge campus! That’s right, we spent some time (you might be able to guess why…Bryce is awesome!) on campus at Cambridge. It was my first time, as I was visiting Bryce, who had been there 3 previous times. I got the royal tour and spent some much-needed time in the library studying, too. Okay, let’s check out some photos. Cambridge Campus First up, the trees – they’re old, historic, and full of stories. This one is flat out neat. The University of Cambridge has more…

    Travel: Great St. Mary’s

Great St. Mary’s is a church that you can climb to the top of – really! The tower is narrow, and it’s about 123 steps up. Only one-way traffic is allowed – so be sure to give yourself a bit of time if you’re in a rush, since you might have to wait to descend. When we attended, it was a windy day, yet the sky was clear, and you could get a great sense of the city. Okay, let’s check out some photos. Great…

    Travel: Cambridge Sights

Cambridge sights – this culturally packed city in the United Kingdom, about 100km north of London, is worth checking out. It’s full of history, good food, and some amazing sights. On our first night together in the city, we had fish and chips (well, Bryce had halloumi), took a nice walk, and enjoyed the warm spring air. Okay, let’s check out some of these Cambridge sights. Cambridge Sights First, there are so many fun tidbits of history around. If you’re not looking out for them…
