Travel: Chicago Lunch Eats
Chicago lunch eats – some of these places are just so good. All offer gluten free options and one place, the whole menu is GF. Total Score!
Just like Chicago breakfast eats, we had a quick lunch sometimes. It’s better to balance out than to eat too much. Having said that, we do love trying new spots!
Chicago Lunch Eats
First up, Barrio in River North. This place had such a great menu. Bryce got the crispy chicken sandwich – the best he’s had, he said. We also got the trio of salsas, so good. And, the guacamole. Delicious. For me, the ahi tuna poke. So fresh.
Up next, Elven City Diner.
This is Bryce’s pastrami sandwich. Such a classic.
Some of the best gluten free bread ever. Maybe I’ve just been unlucky, yet this sandwich – the real roasted turkey, was so good. Including the bread.
The menu is huge and if you’re really hungry, get a shake. It’s super close to Museum Campus, too.
Downtown in the Loop? Check out Revival Food Hall. This place is packed with 16 vendors all feeding the downtown core. For us, it’s tacos all the way.
Antique Taco Chiquito – named on the 50 best tacos in America list, this place doesn’t disappoint.
The entire menu is gluten free. So amazing.
For Bryce it’s the pork carnitas and potato poblano tacos.
For me, the crispy fish and sweet and spicy chicken tacos.
Overall, our lunches were fantastic. Venture out and eat lunch – you’ll be happy you did. Plus, it’ll give you fuel to sightsee and you won’t have to stop for dinner until 8 or 9. Thanks for visiting!
