Recipe: Pumpkin Spiced Protein Bars
Protein bars are a great quick snack – healthy and hearty. Over the past while I’ve made a few different recipes, PB Protein Bites, Cookie Dough Protein Bars, and Regular Protein Bars.
These ones, pumpkin spiced protein bars are different – they don’t need to be frozen and they are not sticky! Amazing.
Try them.
Ingredients
- 2 packages of Quaker Protein Oatmeal
- 3 packages of Blue Menu Omega Oatmeal
- 1 cup of peanut butter
- 1/2 cup of agave syrup
- 3 scoops of protein powder (1 cup)
- 1/2 of unsweetened apple sauce
- 1/2 of pure pumpkin mix (not pie filling)
- 2 tablespoons of cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of nutmeg
First, measure out all of your ingredients – peanut butter and pumpkin.
Mix everything together well and plop on a sheet of parchment paper that is lining a cookie sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes at 200 degrees. Once they are golden brown, they are done.
Take out of the oven and let cool for about 10 minutes and then cut into 15 bars.
They will be firm, but not sticky. Perfection.
Keep in the fridge for about 5 days.
Eat up and enjoy!
Happy protein bar making…they’re so pumpkin-delicious. Eat up.
