Travel: 4 Days in Paris

4 Days in Paris: 3ten.ca

4 days in Paris – the best way to spend a little time away and enjoy the city of love. We spent some of the most beautiful days in this French city back in September. Here’s how we spent our four days!

4 Days in Paris

Day One

After arriving via Eurostar we checked into our Hotel in Le Marais and ventured out to pick up our Museum Passes – then, we booked in our time spot for the Louvre. Then we visited Galeries Lafayette.

Day Two

Up first, after a quick walk and a breakfast stop, we visited the Montparnasse Tower for the morning view. Then, we took the metro to the Eiffel Tower. Did a bit of walking around, people watching, and just enjoyed the beautiful day.

For lunch we ate at El Nopal Taqueria before visiting Sacré-Cœur Basilica. We ended the day with some delicious Thai food. Such a fun filled day.

Day Three

We walked so much on day three! Paris sights, from Louis XIV to the Fontaine de Mars, our walks were treasured. Plus, as I’ve said so many times, the people watching.

We used our Paris Museum Pass at the Arc de Triomphe and walked up all of those stairs. It’s a beautiful memorial and a great way to see the city.

Up next we walked the Avenue des Champs-Élysées and didn’t buy a thing. We did pop into a few stores, yet nothing really grabbed our attention. For lunch we ate a Helmut Newcake – try it, it’s so good!

The afternoon was filled with a few hours at the Musée d’Orsay – one of my absolute favourite places in Paris. The impressionist art – yes, please!

After a rest at our hotel, we ventured back to the Montparnasse Tower for the night view and then headed off to Papillon for dinner. Such a great day!

Day Four

On our last day we started early and headed to the Palace of Versailles. We spent the morning in Versailles also seeing the musical gardens and the gallery of coaches.

That afternoon, after lunch at Helmut again, we visited the Louvre. Day four was a packed day full of so much art, history, and pure bliss.

In the end, we had a wonderful trip to Paris, France. If you get the chance to go (when it’s safe to travel, of course) do consider visiting – the history, the food, and the culture are amazing.
